Aji Susanto Anom
Aji Susanto Anom adalah seorang fotografer dan dosen di Departemen Fotografi, Fakultas Seni Media Rekam, ISI Yogyakarta. Dia belajar fotografi dari pengalaman masa kecilnya bermain dengan film seluloid di ruang gelap studio foto ayahnya. Dai tumbuh dengan kenangan seorang fotografer dari ayahnya dan dipertemukan lagi dengan fotografi pada 2008 sewaktu menempuh pendidikan sarjana. Saat ini, dia telah menjadi lebih asketis di dalam memfoto momen kecil dan kisah remang sehari-hari. Dia bergabung dengan kolektif Flock Project, yang berfokus pada eksplorasi presentasi cetak karya fotografi. Dia aktif menerbitkan buku foto dan zine, selain juga berpameran di tingkat lokal dan internasional.
Karyanya telah dipublikasikan oleh berbagai platform, di antaranya Lens Culture, Independent Photo, Invisible Photographer Asia, Phases Magazine, Feature Shoot, dan Burn Magazine. Aji juga telah berpartisipasi di dalam berbagai pameran dan festival di Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Yogyakarta, Ljubljana, Yangon, Jakarta, Padang, dan Hyderabad.

Aji Susanto Anom is a photographer and lecturer at the Photography Department, Faculty of Recorded Media Arts, ISI Yogyakarta. He learned photography from his childhood experience playing film celluloid in his father’s photo studio dark room. He grew up with memories of a photographer from his father and reunited with photography in 2008 when he took his bachelor’s degree. For now, he has become more ascetic about photographing small moments and obscure stories daily. He joined the Flock Project collective, which focuses on exploring print presentations of photographic works. He actively publishes photo books and zines, as well as exhibiting both locally and internationally.
His work has been published by various platforms, such as Lens Culture, Independent Photo, Invisible Photographer Asia, Phases Magazine, Feature Shoot, and Burn Magazine. Aji has also participated in various exhibitions and festivals in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Yogyakarta, Ljubljana, Yangon, Jakarta, Padang, and Hyderabad.
